Embedded in a flexible, strong but lightweight fabric, the technology is able to be rapidly deployed for most body types. Because of our selection of materials, the device is compatible with X-ray and CT imaging, re-usable and reduces the threat for further injury by EMS through easier and better stabilization of the injury. HOW IT WORKS

Neurotect technology consists of freely moving, small, thin plates that form a conformable and flexible fabric-like material.

The individual joints flex easily and conform to the body during normal movement. Under abnormal movement, the interface will stiffen to spread the force over a greater area and diffusing the trauma and sharing the load more equally. A series of connections between the plates will allow for sophisticated control of the locking or stiffening process. Sensors can be incorporated throughout the device to engage and protect the wearer. Neurotect technology can interface with protective gear, such as helmets, boots, or other devices.
